A short explanation on Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. DSSC is a technology for producing photo-voltaic cells.
Make a dye-sensitized solar cell using blackberry juice and other common or household materials. These small solar cells can produce more than a half-volt of electricity in an area the size of a quarter. This small electrochemical circuit is made from two small pieces of conductive glass acting as electrodes. One electrode is coated with paint and blackberry juice, the other is scribbled on with pencil lead. Sandwich them together with some electrolyte in between, and you’re ready to capture the sun’s power! A safe and fun experiment for ages 9 and up. 🤍

der DSSC e.V. und Scooter-Attack hatten zur Saisoneröffnung nach Saarbrücken geladen.Trotz der widrigen Wetterprognose folgten der Einladung eine Menge Rennsportbegeisterte und ließen sich trotz strömendem Regen die Laune nicht vermiesen! Schließlich blieb ja auch noch der Scooter-Attack P4 Leistungsprüfstand um sich und sein Können unter Beweis zu stellen. Hier nun endlich das Video zum ersten DSSC Lauf im Jahre 2013. Traditionell fand dieser natürlich wieder in Saarbrücken statt. Allerdings musste leider kurzfristig auf eine Ersatzstrecke umgestiegen werden, auf der dann 50m, statt der üblichen 150m gesprintet wurden. Immerhin war das Wetter dieses Mal gnädig, und obwohl der Himmel teilweise ganz schön finster aussah, blieb es trocken. Alles weitere seht Ihr im Video. Ergebnisse und weitere Infos wie immer auf 🤍
